Lion Insurance and Little Ethiopia have been working to transform personal risk insurance. Yesterday, on March 4, 2025, during the launch event, they unveiled Ethiopia's first digital, trip-based motor taxi insurance coverage.

The insurance policy covers costs related to death, bodily injury, medical expenses, and ambulance fees, among others. It also provides compensation for damages of up to 1 million Birr.
