A car battery manufacturing factory, constructed at a cost of 1 billion birr, has been inaugurated in Debre Berhan city.

The factory, built by Sifan New Energy Manufacturing, was inaugurated in Debre Berhan city, Amhara Region. The inauguration ceremony was attended by high-ranking government officials, including Industry Minister Melaku Alebel.

The factory, which has created job opportunities for 110 citizens, is expected to play a significant role in replacing imported car batteries with locally produced ones.
